Brian and I recently attended an Orthodox Marriage Encounter weekend. It was a fun weekend, away from work and distractions, and it also helped us to “wake up” to each other again. It’s so easy to go on autopilot in our daily lives, and forget about actively exploring the soul of the person we love.
As a side note, the Weekend was held at the Glen Eyrie conference center, which happens to be smack in the middle of the Garden of the Gods, a large area aptly named for it’s amazing, huge (I mean gigantic here), juttings-up of rock.
